The Avalanche is a 4" premium wet polishing pad engineered for granite, marble, quartz, and engineered stone in the Avalanche 7-step system. Constructed with a dense diamond-loaded resin bond and a precision-engineered surface pattern for optimal slurry evacuation, thermal stability, and cutting efficiency, this pad is built to handle demanding initial passes with speed and control. Wet use is required for proper cooling and dust suppression, and due to its dark resin formulation, it is recommended mainly for medium-to-dark stones to prevent pigment transfer.

  • At 50 grit, it provides aggressive stock removal—eliminating saw marks, leveling uneven surfaces, and preparing the stone for progressive refinement.
